Cacao Gratitude Dance

Join us to honor a powerful numerological portal for new beginnings. We'll open with a heart-centered cacao ceremony, then channel a vibrational flow of abundance through an ecstatic dance of embodied gratitude.

We close by anchoring this energy in a deeply restorative sound bath.

Step through this 1/11 gateway and begin your year magnetized from a state of joyful, grateful receiving.

Foundations of Alignment

This workshop is designed to break down the fundamental alignment principles behind common yoga poses, helping you build strength, stability, and confidence on the mat.

Together, we’ll explore the basics of standing, seated, and reclining postures, focusing on how alignment supports balance, ease, and long-term joint health. You’ll learn how to adapt poses to your body using simple cues, props, and modifications, so your practice feels both safe and empowering.

Whether you’re brand new to yoga or looking to revisit the foundations, this workshop offers a supportive space to slow down, ask questions, and develop a clearer understanding of how yoga poses are meant to feel, not just how they look.

You’ll leave with:

A stronger understanding of foundational yoga poses

Practical alignment cues you can use in any class

Tools for modifying poses to suit your body

Greater confidence in moving safely and comfortably

No prior yoga experience is required. All bodies and abilities are welcome.

Come prepared for your practice with a few simple essentials. Bring a yoga mat to ground yourself, a water bottle to stay hydrated, and a sweat towel to keep you comfortable throughout your flow. Arrive on time to settle in before class begins, and preregister to ensure you have a spot. Most importantly, show up with an open heart and an open mind—ready to breathe, move, and grow both on and off the mat.

200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training

This training is a return—to the body as teacher, to breath as prayer, and to the quiet intelligence that has always known the way.

We guide students into deep listening, attuning to the subtle language of sensation, organs, fascia, and feeling. Nothing is separate. The physical body, emotional landscape, and inner life are woven together, offering a living field through which healing and wisdom naturally unfold.

Our movement practice draws from the source of vinyasa itself. Rooted in the Ashtanga method—without rigidity or dogma—we explore form as a vessel for awareness. Alignment and sequencing arise not as rules to follow, but as expressions of respect for the body’s innate order and rhythm.

This training is held within the light of our Vedic lineage, guided by the teachings of Sri Swami Dayananda Saraswati. These teachings meet the language of modern neurobiology, revealing how ancient wisdom continues to shape the nervous system, steady the mind, and open the heart. Philosophy is not studied from a distance—it is felt, embodied, and lived.

To enter this training is to sit at the meeting place of discipline and devotion. It is a study of yoga not as performance, but as relationship—with self, with tradition, and with the sacred intelligence moving through all life.

Whether you are called to teach or simply to listen more deeply, this journey offers a ground from which clarity, humility, and service may arise.

Frequently Asked Questions

What should I bring to class? Are extra mats available to borrow?

  • We highly recommend bringing a water bottle. We have water available if you run out and need to re-fill at the studio, as hydration is key in hot yoga. And yes, we do have extra mats to rent for $5. But if you have your own, we encourage bringing that. Also, it's likely you will get sweaty especially in a hot class, so bring a small towel or even a yoga mat towel. We also have mats and towels to purchase.

If I am new to yoga, what classes do you recommend?

  • If you have never tried yoga nor hot yoga and want to ease into that, we suggest starting with a Low&Slow class, or one of the Slow Flow Vinyasa, Vin to Yin and Yin classes. However, all of our classes are open to all levels, and instructors are great with offering variations and demonstrating poses. Just tell your instructor before class if you are new so they can keep that in mind. We encourage the new student week/month specials to really get the chance to try all styles and instructors and find your niche!

What is the difference between Vinyasa and Hot Hatha classes?

  • Vinyasa essentially means linking breath to movement through a "flow" sequence. Throughout class you are constantly transitioning between postures with your breath and completing a chatturanga, upward dog, to downward dog sequence between. Our Hot Hatha class is structured similar to Bikram-yoga classes. You will complete 26 poses, each two times with a specific number of breaths holding each posture. You start with a standing series, and end with seated postures.

What about Yoga Sculpt?

  • Practiced in a hot room with weights and other props. You will begin class with a gentle warm up and then move into strength moves and increasing the heart rate, ending class with a gentle cool down. Weights and props can be optional, you are welcome to bring your own, but we do have them for use. We suggest drinking water throughout the day before and after. However, you will notice significant changes in your endurance and strength after attending a few classes consistently! This is a great class for athletes, or those looking for even more of a workout in their practice.

What temperature is the room?

  • For hot classes, the temperature is about 99-105 degrees. In our low-heat classes, the temp is in the 90s. Yin classes, Barre and Pilates and practiced in lower comfortable temperatures.

I have an injury, will I be okay to practice?

  • Yoga is often a great form of physical (and mental) therapy. However, listen to your body and please tell your instructor if you have an injury or anything that may affect your practice, so they can offer appropriate variations.

Do I need to register for a class before attending?

  • We highly encourage pre-registration. Classes can get very full and we can’t guarantee a space if you are not pre-registered.

What age is appropriate to start practicing inside the studio?

  • For health and safety reasons, we encourage a minimum age of 12 for students practicing in the studio. Parents know their child best, so ultimately, we leave this decision up to parent and instructor to decide. We offer 50% for minors practicing with their parents.

Is there childcare? Can I let my child sit in the lobby during class?

  • We are a small space and don’t have enough room for childcare. We love children, but please make other arrangements for children during your time here on the mat. We want it to be a peaceful environment for instructors to focus on the students’ needs and students to let go of all worries and focus on themselves and their time on the mat.
